Conference Registration

Please use the form below to register and/or submit your abstract. You must use a valid code and provide the name of the person/lab group who provided you with the code.

Also, note that abstracts submitted with a presenting author who is not registered for the conference will not be considered.


NOTE: If you request an oral presentation and are not selected, you will automatically be entered into the poster session.

About Each Session

Poster Session: An opportunity to visually showcase important research and is open to all participants.

  • Guidelines:
    • Required poster size: 3 feet height x 4 feet length.
    • Poster boards and attachment materials will be provided.
    • Posters are to remain up for the whole duration of the conference and be collected at the end of the conference day.
    • There will be awards for Top Poster Presentations.

**Please keep in mind that oversized posters will be difficult to display.**

Rapid-Fire Session: This session is reserved for students and trainees to present current or completed research projects. Rapid-Fires are a great opportunity to showcase your research in a different manner than a poster. Think of an elevator pitch when presenting your research.

  • Guidelines:
    • 1-slide (no animations), 3 minutes to present (timing will be strictly enforced).
    • If selected, you will automatically be enrolled in the poster session.
    • There will be awards for the top 3 Rapid Fire Presentations.

Concurrent Session: This session is reserved for research leads to showcase and discuss important ongoing or completed research.

  • Guidelines:
    • Each presenter will have 12 minutes to discuss their research with 3 minutes for Q&A.
    • Preference will be given to research with results. 
Abstract Guidelines
Abstracts are due January 31st, 2025 at 11:59 pm
  • All submissions must be original work.
  • All abstracts, if accepted, must be presented in English.
  • General Structure in paragraph format:
    • Background
    • Hypotheses/Objectives
    • Proposed Methods
    • Future Applications/Directions or for a completed study, Results/ Implications
    • Word limit: 250 words
    • Tables, graphics, diagrams, or images cannot be accepted
  • Amendments: changes to the abstract are possible until January 31st, 2025
